PALMETTO, Fla., Jan. 29 - Registration was opened today for the first round of the 2010 USF2000 National Championship, to be held at the Honda Grand Prix of St Petersburg in support of the IZOD Indycar series on March 27-28.

Entry forms are available in the competitors section of this site for download, along with driver license application forms and other required paperwork items. Billed as the “World’s Fastest Spring Break Party”, the event features all of the steps on the Road to Indy ladder, with the USF2000 series enjoying two races in front of the large crowds and festive atmosphere. 2003

Josh at the age of 13 took his ARKS test and started in Junior MAX. He took part in his first race, getting fourth place at Fulbeck. He was then to move on and win all his novice trophies. After finishing his Novice Races he joined the Stars of Tomorrow British Championship and in his first season took some podium positions impressing many race teams and received 9th in the British Championship.

2004

Josh's second seasonin Junior Max, he took part in the British MSA Championship and Stars of Tomorrow.

He had a very successful year winning many races of British Championship Standards and took 6th Place in Stars of Tomorrow and 9th in the British MSA Championship. He also came 2nd in TVKC Championship and LKRC Championship winning most of his races at the club events.

2005 - Junior MAX

Josh was in his last year of Junior MAX where he once again took many podium positions and taking sixth place in both Stars of Tomorrow and British MSA Championship. Towards the end of 2005 he began to test Senior MAX which allowed him a head start for the racing in the following year.

2006 - Senior MAX

Josh took part in his first club event, taking second place turning alot of heads in the Senior MAX class. he was then to take part in the MSA British Championship Super 1 and Euro MAX. He had an up and down year, giving him good and bad results. Throughout Euro MAX he had top 5 positions but had some very bad luck at the same time only allowing him to finish 15th in the European Championships. Throughout the British he had very average finishes due to mechanical failures allowing him to finish only 11th in the Championship.

2007 - Senior MAX

Josh did not do much racing in 2007 due to lack of funding and was unable to compete with the larger teams. He mainly ran club events winning most of them but also tested in the KF2 class over in Belgium Mariemburg preparing himself for 2008.

2008 - KF2

Josh ran his first season in the KF2 class which was a big leap for him as his competitors had been in the class much longer. He took part in the British Open Championship with winning contentions qualifying third for the final but having taken it away from him as he oiled up over the start line. He also took part in the Super 1 British Championship taking many top 5 places and finishing 16th in the Championship.

2009 - KF2 Second Season

Once again took part in the British Open Championships and came away winner giving him the confidence for the rest of the year.

European Qualifiers - Qualified 19th place for European Finals

Josh was the only privateer to make it through to the European Finals out of 690 and getting down to the last 30 in the Finals. Due to a Mechanical Failure he finished 20th when he was running 6th place in the finals. With these finishers it has automatically qualified him for the World Finals.
